How To Make Tomato Soup At Home
This delicious home made soup is rich in vitamins and lecopene presents in it helps to create happy moods.
Ingredients
Tomatoes 6 no roughly chopped
Carrot 1 no roughly chopped
Potato 1 no roughly chopped
Garlic 3, 5 cloves roughly chopped
Ginger 1 inch roughly chopped
Tej patta 2,3
Onion small 1 no roughly chopped
Sugar 1 ts
Pepper 1 ts
Salt as per taste
Oil 1 tbs
Water 5 cups
Butter 1 TBD
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Fresh Cream for garnishing (optional)
Bread croutons or soup sticks
Steps of method
1 : In a pressure cooker, put oil and let it heat. Add tej patta , saute it. Add all chopped veggies salt in it. Stir them for 2 minutes. Add water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistles.
2 : After opening the cooker strain all tomatoes mixture and let it cool.
3 : Now take a blender or mixture, puree this mixture and again strain it.You can add some more water at this time to get completely clear leftover material.
4 : Now boil the strained out liquid for some time to get creamy consistency. Add pepper and butter and boil for 2 minutes.
5 : Pour the soup in cups and spread cream to make circle.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with soup sticks or croutons.
