Veg Vanilla Cake at Home | Cake Recipe at Home | Egg Less Cake Recipe
Cakes are loved by everyone. Most people think that baking cakes is a difficult task but the truth is baking a cake is one of the most easiest and exciting cooking experience. So here is the recipe for making an egg less cake at home.
Ingredients
Maida (All purpose flour) 1 1/2 cup
(Seive maida 2,3 times)
Curd 1 cup
Refined oil 3/4 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Vanilla essence 1/4 ts
Salt a pinch
Dry fruits as per your choice chopped 3, 4 tbs
Baking powder 1/2 ts
Baking soda 1/4 ts
Method
1: In a bowl take curd and sugar (curd at room temperature) together and mix well.
2: Sprinkle baking powder and baking soda on curd, sugar mixture and let it rise without mixing. After 5 minutes add vanilla essence and oil and mix well.
3: Now add maida in 3 parts in curd, sugar mixture and mix by applying cut and fold method. Don't over mix the batter otherwise it will not become spongy. The consistency can be adjusted by adding a little water.
4: Pre heat the oven at convection mode at 180 Celsius for 15 minutes.
5: Pour mixture in cake tin before greasing it with oil.Tap the tin 2, 3 times.
6:Mix dry fruits with 1 ts of maida and sprinkle on cake mixture (mixing dry fruits with maida helps to stay them on top).
7: Place tin in oven for 40 to 45 minutes. After the time is over. Let it cool and de-mould the cake.
The cake is ready to serve.
