Sugar Free Beetroot Halwa| Healthy Halwa Recipe
Beetroot is full of antioxidants and nutrients that helps in the growth of everyone. Beetroot is a good source of iron. Its daily intake recover the need of iron in our body. Its sweet property is a gift for diabetic people.one can eat its dishes with out adding sugar.
Ingredients:
Beetroots 1/2 kg shredded
Desi ghee 4 tbs
Sugar 100 gm (you can make it sugar free as it is sweet in taste for sugar patients)
Khoya 250 gm
Dry fruits
Kaju 10 no
Badam 10 no
Khismish 10 no
Chopped finely
Cardamom powder 1 ts
Method:
1: In a non stick pan add desi ghee and shredded beetroot.
2: Cook beetroot till its soft . After some time add sugar,if not making sugar free and cook for some more time till its separates from ghee.
3: Beetroot fades its color after it is cooked. Now add cardamom powder and khoya and give some more stirs.
4: Now you can add all dry fruits and mix well.Here is your yummy halwa ready.
