Dhokla Chaat

Chaats of different types are very famous Street foods among all generations.There are varieties of chaats all over our nation.Every state has its own specialty. Today we are going to make Gujarati chaat that is very much  lip smacking like others.


Ingredients

2-3 Cups Dokla (Left over Regular or Wet khatta meetha)
2 chopped onions
2 boiled chopped potatoes
2 tbs lemon juice
4 chopped  green chillies
4-6  garlic cloves(make a paste of garlic and 2 green chillies with lemon juice)
1 cup yogurt mixed with sugar
1/2 cup sweet  tamarind chutney
1 /2 cup garlic and green chilli chutney
1 tbs chat masala
1 cup fresh pomegranate seeds
1 cup aloo  bujia
1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves
1 tbs seaseme seeds
1/2  ts hing 
2 tbs Oil
Salt as per taste

Method

• Mash all the doklas.
• In a pan heat oil, add  hing and sesame seeds , stir for while and add chopped potatoes. Let them cook for sometime till they are little crisp.
• Add half of chopped onions and stir for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add crumbled doklas to pan and give some more stirs. Add chaat masala , little bit salt green chillies to it. Mix all well and keep aside to cool.
 • Now arrange like papadi chaat on a plate. First spread dokla mixture then yoghurt then  chutney then onions, again yoghurt and  garlic chutney pomegranate seeds, aloo bujia, coriander leaves, chaat masala and our dokla chaat is ready to go.
